Every month, an expert in the field of EU law enforcement shares his or her knowledge and research via a <a href=\"https:\/\/eulawenforcement.com\/\">blogpost<\/a>. Furthermore, this website provides a <a href=\"https:\/\/eulawenforcement.com\/?page_id=12\">publication list<\/a> of books and articles regarding the enforcement of EU law.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\"> This platform was originally established with a two-fold purpose: firstly, to support the former \u2018Verticalization of Enforcement\u2019 project of RENFORCE (Utrecht Centre for Regulation and Enforcement in Europe), in which the programme coordinators <a href=\"http:\/\/www.uu.nl\/medewerkers\/MScholten\/0\">Miroslava (Mira) Scholten<\/a> and&nbsp;<a href=\"http:\/\/www.uu.nl\/staff\/MJJPLuchtman\">Michiel Luchtman<\/a>&nbsp;both executed research projects funded by <a href=\"http:\/\/www.nwo.nl\/en\">The Netherlands Organisation for Scientific Research<\/a>:<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul><li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">\u2018Shared enforcement but separated controls in the EU \u2013 how to make it work for democracy and the rule of law?\u2019, a <a href=\"http:\/\/www.nwo.nl\/en\/research-and-results\/research-projects\/i\/04\/27304.html\">Veni project<\/a> of <a href=\"http:\/\/www.uu.nl\/staff\/MScholten\/0\">Dr. Miroslava (Mira) Scholten<\/a>, and<\/span>&nbsp;<\/li><li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">\u2018The rise of EU law enforcement authorities &#8211; Protecting fundamental rights and liberties in a transnational law enforcement area\u2019, a <a href=\"http:\/\/www.nwo.nl\/en\/research-and-results\/research-projects\/i\/90\/13190.html\">Vidi project<\/a> of <a href=\"http:\/\/www.uu.nl\/staff\/MJJPLuchtman\/0\">Prof. Dr. Michiel Luchtman<\/a>.<\/span><\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">The second purpose of this platform was also to support the Jean Monnet Network on enforcement of EU law (<a href=\"https:\/\/jmn-eulen.nl\/\">EULEN<\/a>) &#8211; a project that was formally completed in 2023. The network continues to cooperate and bring together practitioners and academics via this blog page and annual conferences in our partner-universities.<\/span><\/p>\n\nTherefore, EULEN\u2019s ambition continues being to address the challenges for EU law enforcement in a world without territorial borders by acting as a bridge between academia, practitioners and societal actors at large. Beneficiaries include bachelor and master level students, PhD students, academics, officials from national and EU institutions, organisations and agencies, practitioners, professionals working in NGOs and societies at large.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">These projects bring together a network of experts from a variety of backgrounds &#8211; different universities, both European and national public institutions, and the private sector.
